Thanks, Amelia & Melissa! Years ago when our daughter went on her first overseas missions trip, I was really struggling with letting go of my precious young daughter. God allowed circumstances that helped me realize that the safest place in the world is in God's will. God has always been there to guide and keep in many different circumstances. And He has given me peace in that area of my life!

I'm still a work in progress. Have a great day.Ameliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06994839174871354791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8636046765485147938.post-3453113589708927542011-03-18T09:26:41.592-05:002011-03-18T09:26:41.592-05:00Great hymn Amelia!

This was difficult for me to learn, because to me being flexible meant not being in control and this was very uncomfortable for me. God always has a way of changing my plans and when he would do this I would get stressed. But now that I have learned to trust God, I know he has my best interests at heart and I know his changes to my plan will serve me best. Jeremiah 29:11 tells me this. I also know that any surprises along the way are something to let God handle. Romans 8:28 tells me this. Now I find myself wondering, “What’s there to worry about? God has it all under control.” However I do still find myself struggling with worry sometimes and that is when I do what Dawn Marie commented about on Wednesday, “I roll it over into a prayer.” This way I can focus on today and let God take care of tomorrow.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14312354581691388131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8636046765485147938.post-24057846447353642402011-03-18T05:58:31.643-05:002011-03-18T05:58:31.643-05:00Today's devotional begins and ends with the sa...Today's devotional begins and ends with the same sentence--"Trust Me one day at a time." On old hymn immediately comes to mind. The chorus is: "Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey".

Thank you, Jesus. I know I am safe in your care.Ameliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06994839174871354791noreply@blogger.com
