Right now I am in the midst of two surgical procedures on my feet. I am recovering from the first operation and will have the other foot operated on in a couple months. They are repairing an inherited weakness and misalignment that must be corrected to ensure my ability to continue to be active and healthy for years to come.
I have not been looking forward to the process of two back-to-back surgeries and the months of recovery! However, the benefits of having made the corrections will be so worth the hassle. As I focus on the benefits, I am motivated to move forward. It's all about where I place my focus!
When Jesus is the main focus, the obstacles that seem to litter life's journey can literally leverage our focus and lift our sights to a whole new awareness of Him!

I had an emergency appendectomy a few years ago and even on my birthday ! First time I ever had surgery. I could have let that spoil my day but I chose not to. I thank God for choosing to save me and what a blessing it was to have so much "attention" on my special day! :)
