God Confidence

"Lacking time, energy, money - consider yourself blessed. Your very lack is an opportunity to latch onto Me in unashamed dependence... Awareness of your inadequacy is a rich blessing, training you to rely wholeheartedly on Me" (125)
Lack sets us up for a far different perspective on life. Like a pair of glasses that magnifies the challenge and shrinks our ability to make a worthy contribution, we feel extremely inadequate. This is when I recognize I must exercise "God Confidence!"
"Being confident of this, that HE who began a good work in (me) WILL carry it on to completion, until the day He comes for me." (Phil. 1:6)
