"I am the Prince of Peace... When you keep your focus on Me, you experience both My Presence and My Peace... You need My Peace each moment to accomplish My purposes in your life... Walk with Me along paths of Peace; enjoy the journey in My Presence." (353)
Jesus is the Prince of Peace while satan is "the prince of this world." (John 12:31, 14:30) No matter how hard this world struggles to gain peace, it will never be achieved until satan is totally defeated and the Prince of Peace reigns. However, in the meantime, in my own life, I can allow the Prince of Peace to reign, setting up His Kingdom in my heart. What a difference He makes, allowing me to experience the purposes and plans His Peace brings!
No wonder satan does all he can to disturb and steal away our Peace...he does not want us to fulfill our destiny and bring to life the realities of our purpose.
Day by day, our path can be filled with Peace and Purpose...it just depends on which "prince" we journey with, listen to, focus on and allow to reign in our lives.
In the Presence of the Prince of Peace...dmc

Thanks for sharing it with us, Melissa.
I admire that you have pledged to eat vegan and instill peace within yourself by choosing this practice, however, I dont agree with you placing these feelings here on Dawns blog. The comments section is to merely respond or support her writing/teaching.
ReplyDeleteI respect your conviction, so respect the sanctity of our wish to be in the spiritual moment with our God. Please set the worldly issues down for a moment and enjoy some Peace...you may find comfort and health in this Peace that is even more satisfying & beneficial than your meat-free lifestyle.
