We often underestimate just how disoriented we've become in the "spin cycle" of life. When we start to "walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Cor. 5:7) it will often seem ackward and challenging. Human perspective can so blindfold us and so disorient us that to accomplish something beyond our strategic human efforts absolutely requires divine intervention.
To our great eternal advantage, God wants to redirect us to the right "spot" at just the right time. The great disadvantage of human blindfolds is that they highly interfer with eternal perspectives. All the more reason why we must have willing, yielded, compliant hearts that follow His gentle nudges and promptings.
I've discovered, when God helps me to "walk by faith, not by sight," that a whole herd of donkeys have been tagged and tailed... for HIS glory! Some were even used to carry Jesus... straight into the middle of somebody's world!! (Read John 12:12-15)
Blindfolded yet Blessed...dmc
